JFCS
Accepts car donations – make a “car” mitzvah today! It’s
easy to do: When you are ready to
make a vehicle donation, call 795-0300 ext. 238, and we
will guide you through the process. We accept all
vehicles,
running or not, and provide towing. We also handle all
of the paperwork involved in transferring the title of
the vehicle to JFCS.
Once you call, we will
take down specific information regarding the make,
model, year and condition of the vehicle and confirm
that the title is in your name. We also verify your
address and phone number.

We then arrange to have
your vehicle picked up. Pick-up usually happens within
72 hours of your call to JFCS. We assure you that we
will complete the transaction as quickly as possible.
Once the title is
transferred, your donated vehicle becomes the property of
JFCS. We then send you a gift acknowledgement for use
when you file your tax return. Of course, you must
itemize your tax return in order to claim the charitable
gift donation. You should contact your tax advisor on how to proceed based
on your unique circumstances.
