Planned Gifts
There is no end to the good you can do…
Gifts through your estate can provide important
financial benefits to you and are an enduring legacy of
your concern for our community. You can leave a legacy
through your will or trust by designating a specific
dollar amount or percentage, specific property, or
anything left over after providing for your family. In
addition you may direct your gift to support a
particular program of interest to you or designate
support for our endowment fund.
A planned gift to JFCS will provide services for those
in need in the community. Planned giving opportunities
include a bequest through your will, charitable gift
annuity, life insurance or trust. These gift vehicles
are used to build long-term stability at JFCS so that
generations to come can continue to benefit from your
kindness and generosity.

Suggested Language for Bequest Provisions
This suggested language is applicable only to an
expendable unrestricted bequest. This language is
intended to provide examples, not as legal advice.
Jewish Family and Children’s Service of Southern Arizona
recommends that you seek legal counsel regarding your
personal circumstances, your wishes for your estate and
the preparation of necessary documents.
1. Specific bequest
"I give and devise to Jewish Family and Children’s
Service of Southern Arizona, Inc., an Arizona
constitutional corporation having the control and
management of Jewish Family & Children’s Service of
Southern Arizona,
[Select one of the
following clauses, either (a) or (b)]:
a) the sum of _______________, [or]
b) the following property:________________,
[Select one of the following clauses, either (i) or
(ii)]:
i) to be used for the benefit of the [name of
department, program or JFCS unit] for the following
purpose:_________________________. [or]
ii) to be used for JFCS purposes determined in the Board
of Directors' discretion. "
2. Residual bequest
"All (or ____%) of the residue of my estate, I give and
devise to Jewish Family and Children’s Service of
Southern Arizona, an Arizona constitutional corporation
having the control and management of JFCS,
[Select one of the following clauses, either (i) or
(ii)]:
i) to be used for the benefit of the [department,
program or unit] for the following
purpose:____________________________. [or]
ii) to be used for JFCS purposes determined in the Board
