Carlos A. Hernández, DSW, LCSW, CPHQ

Carlos A. Hernández was appointed president & CEO of JFCS of Southern Arizona in November 2014. With over 30 years of experience in the field of social work and behavioral health services, Carlos is a compassionate professional who is committed to helping individuals, families, and communities. 

Carlos holds a Bachelor’s degree in sociology and social work from the University of Wisconsin, a Master’s degree from the Crown School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice at the University of Chicago, and a Doctorate of Social Work from the University of Southern California. He is a former member of the Pima Council on Aging Board of Directors and serves as adjunct faculty at Arizona State University’s School of Social Work in Tucson and the Pima Community College Social Services Department.
