Mitzvah Magic
The Jewish Federation of Southern Arizona and Jewish Family & Children’s Services brings together the Jewish community in creating holiday gift baskets for families in need, so families may joyfully celebrate Rosh Hashanah, Hanukkah and Passover. Mitzvah Magic volunteer circles help over 20 families each year with holiday items, household necessities, clothing, school supplies and more. Focusing on the celebration of the holidays helps families feel part of the Tucson Jewish Community.
Matza & More
The Jewish community and JFCS of Southern Arizona strive to ensure that all in our community can celebrate Passover with joy and dignity. Through generous donations and the assistance of many volunteers, JFCS is able to provide over 160 Jewish individuals, older adults and families in our community with kosher and traditional foods for their Passover Seders.
Kosher Turkey
Anshei Israel Congregation and JFCS of Southern Arizona strive to help low-income Jewish families in our community celebrate Thanksgiving with joy and dignity. JFCS has helped Jewish individuals, older adults and families in our community who would not be able to afford and enjoy a kosher turkey because of the cost during difficult times in their lives.
