Irene Klar Chiefs

Irene Klar

“Chiefs” Serigraph, 22 colors, framed 33″ x 16.5″ Limited edition, numbered and signed. Minimum bid: $350.

Irene Klar has been a professional painter and printmaker for over 40 years. She holds a BFA from the University of Alberta and has exhibited her work internationally, including juried shows in Spain, Slovenia, and New Zealand. Now based in Tucson since 2018, her work is included in private collections from Norway to Australia.

About “Chiefs”: This striking serigraph is a true limited edition original work of art. Each of the 22 colors was printed separately by hand using 26 individual stencils—one for each color application. The stencils are destroyed after each color is finished, making every print in this edition unique and unrepeatable. This is not a reproduction but an original silkscreen print, numbered and signed by the artist.

Klar has created commissioned pieces for the Trans-Canada Trail and Amnesty International, and has generously donated her designs for many nonprofit fundraising activities.
