Jewish Family & Children’s Services of Southern Arizona (JFCS) has named Kseniya DeLano as the agency’s president and chief executive officer, effective April 6.

Ms. DeLano joined JFCS in 2024 as the agency’s finance director and most recently served as chief administrative officer.

“As a member of JFCS’ senior leadership team, Kseniya has already demonstrated a deep commitment to the agency’s mission and its impact on the community,” said Susan Kasle, chair of JFCS’ board of directors. “Her ability to provide leadership that supports and strengthens the agency’s delivery of quality services positions JFCS well for its next chapter.”

DeLano holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona. She brings a strong foundation in financial management and compliance, having previously served in leadership roles in healthcare administration.

In the early 1990s, her family was resettled by Jewish Family and Children’s Services of Southern Arizona in Tucson, where she began her journey in a new country filled with opportunity, an experience that continues to inform her commitment to community service and impact. She believes in the power of possibility, and she is deeply guided by the value of tikkun olam, the ideal of repairing the world through loving kindness.

Commenting on her new role, DeLano said: “I believe leadership is about creating possibility, honoring where we come from, embracing where we are, and moving forward together with purpose, compassion, and just a little bit of courage.”
