CHAI Circle for Jewish Women
Cancer, Healing and Inspiration
CHAI Circle is a group of Jewish women in the community who have or have had cancer and believe that it is important for women to have each other for support, encouragement, understanding and even humor. Our mission is to empower women to be active and informed survivors. Our goals include education, mentoring, socialization, spirituality and support.
CHAI Circle meets one Sunday of each month from 10:00am-noon at the Jewish Community Center.

Keynote Speaker: Rabbi Naomi Levy Rabbi Naomi Levy is the author of newly released Einstein and the Rabbi, and the national bestseller To Begin Again, as well as Talking to God, and Hope Will Find You. She is the founder and leader of NASHUVA, a groundbreaking Jewish spiritual outreach movement based in L.A. Levy was named one of the “Top 50 Rabbis in America” by Newsweek, and has appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Today Show, and on NPR. She was in the first class of women to enter The Rabbinical School at Jewish Theological Seminary, and the first woman in her movement to lead a congregation on the West Coast. She lives in Venice Beach,California with her husband Rob Eshman, they are proud parents of two children, Adi and Noa.
Presentation: Judaism and Soul, Healing, Meditation and Prayer In her new book Einstein and the Rabbi, Rabbi Naomi Levy will explore how getting to know the voice of our own souls can deepen, and elevate our lives. We will learn together, meditate, and even have the opportunity to write our own personal prayers.
